Terms of use
Last updated 5 November 2026.
This is a starting draft. Have it reviewed and adapted to your business (and the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019) before you launch.
1. Using Kalenda
Kalenda lets customers request appointments with businesses, and lets businesses publish availability and manage those requests. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Booking requests
A booking request reserves the chosen time while the business reviews it. The appointment is confirmed only when the business approves it, and you will be told by e-mail. Each business sets its own rules for notice, how far ahead you can book, and online cancellation.
3. Cancelling and changing
You can cancel or ask to move a booking online until the cut-off the business has set. After that, please contact the business directly. Businesses may also cancel or reschedule appointments, and will tell you why.
4. Business accounts
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their branch details, opening hours and availability, for reviewing requests promptly, and for how they handle the documents customers attach.
5. Acceptable use
Do not make bookings you don’t intend to keep, upload unlawful content, or try to access accounts or data that aren’t yours.
